Account & verification
Do I need an account to browse AudToro?+
You can browse public marketplace pages without signing in, but you need an account to post opportunities, respond to opportunities, book sessions, message collaborators, or manage workspaces.
Why does AudToro ask for verification?+
Verification helps keep the marketplace safer before money, messages, files, or project work move through AudToro. Some actions may require confirmed account details before you can continue.
Where do I update my profile, phone, or Stripe settings?+
Go to Account Settings to manage account details. Producers can also update public profile, listings, availability, portfolio, studio photos, and payout setup from their producer dashboard.
I forgot my password. What should I do?+
Use the password reset page and follow the link sent to your email.
Workspace basics
Bookings & sessions
Where do I find active bookings and project work?+
Open Sessions to see active, upcoming, review, completed, and archived workspaces.
What lives inside a session workspace?+
Session workspaces keep the important pieces together: overview details, songs, files, messages, terms, delivery steps, and review actions when they apply.
Can I upload files or message from a booking?+
Yes. Use the booking or session workspace for files and messages so the collaboration history stays attached to the work.
Where can I book studio time or a producer service?+
Start from Browse or a producer profile to review listings, pricing, and booking details before committing.
Collaboration posts
Opportunities
What is an opportunity?+
An opportunity is a public post for creative work, collaboration, studio needs, placements, or paid services. Posters define the scope, target role, genre, budget, and deadline.
Who can respond to opportunities?+
Artists, producers, engineers, studios, vocalists, songwriters, and beat makers can respond when the post is relevant to their role and the opportunity is still open.
What should a good response include?+
Include a clear proposal: budget range, timeline, deliverables, revision terms, and why you are a fit. This helps the poster compare responses fairly.
What happens after a response is accepted?+
AudToro can move the accepted response into a private opportunity project workspace under Sessions, where both sides can manage terms, files, messages, payments, and delivery.
Money movement
Payments, payouts & disputes
Does AudToro set prices?+
No. AudToro is a marketplace. Creators set their own rates, packages, budgets, timelines, and terms. See Pricing for more detail.
How are payments handled?+
Payments are processed through Stripe. The exact payment flow depends on whether the work is a booking, listing package, or opportunity project.
How do producers get paid?+
Producer payouts are handled through Stripe Connect after the applicable work, delivery, review, or release flow is complete.
What if something goes wrong with a payment or delivery?+
Use the workspace actions and messages first so context stays attached to the project. If the issue cannot be resolved, contact AudToro with the booking, session, or opportunity ID.
Collaboration
Messages & files
Why should I keep messages and files on AudToro?+
Keeping messages, files, terms, and approvals on AudToro gives both sides a clearer history if there are revisions, disputes, or delivery questions.
Can I share outside contact information?+
AudToro may block attempts to move marketplace conversations off-platform when they create payment, trust, or support risk. Keep booking and project coordination in the workspace.
Where do file previews and downloads live?+
Files live inside the relevant session or opportunity project workspace. Some audio files may have previews or gated download actions depending on the workspace state.
Protection
Trust & safety
How do I report a user?+
Use the Report action on a profile or inside a workspace when available. Include clear context so AudToro can review the issue.
What should I do in an urgent safety situation?+
If anyone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first. Then contact AudToro with the account, booking, or project details.
Can AudToro review disputes?+
AudToro can review supported dispute contexts when payment, delivery, cancellation, or user conduct needs attention. Keeping activity on-platform helps that review.
